Take a video tour of all that's up and open around Tulane.
You and Tulane. Together, nothing can bring us down.

A Force of Nature
We’re not talking about that hurricane, we’re talking about Tulane. No matter what’s thrown at us, we come back. Stronger and more focused than ever. We’re expecting almost all of our students to return this January. What can we say about that kind of spirit? When you’re part of the Tulane community, it really shows.

Back to Normal
Yes. Mardi Gras is on for 2006. That’s just one of the many signs that this city’s not waiting around to get back on its feet. With all the media coverage, what you might not know is that many parts of the city escaped any lasting damage. The French Quarter was entirely missed by the flooding. Parts of our campus did flood, but if it’s not already repaired, it’s well on its way. In fact, we’re planning to have all of our facilities up and running for the Spring semester. See: Places to Eat, Things to Do, Activities Calendar.

A Chance to Help
We were surprised at how many of you contacted us to see how you could help in Katrina’s aftermath. With our student body, we should have expected it. Upon your return in January, if you would like to contribute your time to helping this great city, plenty of opportunities for volunteer work will be made available.

In the Meantime
Should you have any questions, please search through our FAQs section. President Cowen has also posted his latest message to you all, detailing the most recent rebuilding efforts and how we’re moving forward.
